OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS WANTED PDF Print E-mail

The nomination of officers and directors of the North Broward Bar Association will occur on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the regular meeting. The meeting will be held at the North Broward Courthouse in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Traditionally the officers have succeeded to the next position, from Secretary to Treasurer, to Vice President, to President. This year, however, there will be openings in most of the offices, as the officers currently holding the offices of Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President will not accept nomination to the succeeding office.  Elections of officers and directors will occur at the regular meeting in May, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, and the officers and directors assume the responsibilities beginning the June meeting, on June 12, 2012.

Any prospective officer or director to understand the duties and responsibilities should review a copy of the By-laws.

The opportunity to serve in this voluntary bar association--the longest running in existence in Broward County--enables continuity to the organization, professional growth, and a platform to display talents and abilities to benefit the organization.

Anyone interested in serving on the Board of Directors and as an officer should contact Wilma Stevenson at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
